3 cups pear flavored vodka
1 cup apple cider
1 cup thyme infused simple syrup (recipe below)
1 pear, thinly sliced
chilled sparkling water
fresh thyme sprigs, for garnish
Combine vodka, cider, thyme simple syrup and pear slices in a pitcher and refrigerate overnight to let flavors combine. To serve, pour into glasses over ice and top with a splash of sparkling water. Garnish with thyme sprigs. Makes 6 cocktails.
To make thyme infused simple syrup: heat 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water and 12 sprigs of fresh thyme over high heat, until boiling. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate to chill. Once completely cool, discard thyme.
4 oz. goat cheese
1-2 TB half & half
2 honey crisp apples, thinly sliced
2-4 TB honey
freshly ground pepper
In a small bowl, combine goat cheese with half & half until cheese is easy to spread on crackers. Place apple slices on a platter and spread the cheese mixture on top. Top with pepper and rosemary then finish with a drizzle of honey.
