I've been organizing parties for as long as I can remember. From glamorous galas for my Barbies to junior high surprise birthday parties, from anniversary dinners for my parents to themed playdates once I became a mom. I was always looking for any chance to express my creativity and have fun.
My background includes a degree in theatre costume design and make-up, advertising agency experience, and commercial production work. My professional life presented me with many opportunities to work on large scale events such as a Democratic National Committee fundraiser, SXSW Film Festival screenings, parties sponsored by the Texas Film Commission, and countless corporate lunch and dinner functions. I’ve worked with tight budgets, quick timelines, and limited resources.
After becoming a mom I became active in many volunteer organizations, eventually taking on a leadership role within Southern Marin Mothers Club, organizing their Events Committee and producing family friendly parties for the community. These paths have naturally led me to start my own event planning company.Since launching The Party Buss in January 2015, Angie's been planning and designing birthday parties, graduation parties, large scale events, book launches, happy hours and much more. In addition to parties, The Party Buss hosts seasonal events such as holiday craft sessions and floral workshops.
